The SensiQuant Direct ABL MasterMix<\/strong> product is available in two different packaging formats, identified by two product codes:<\/p>\n

  1. SQT-033<\/strong>: internal format, 72 duplicate determinations for ABL mRNA, totaling 144 determinations, including standards and controls.<\/li>\n
  2. SQT-033S<\/strong>: small format, 24 duplicate determinations for ABL mRNA, totaling 48 determinations, including standards and controls.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The SensiQuant Direct ABL MasterMix<\/strong> kits are used for:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • qualitative detection<\/strong> of the ABL gene transcript<\/li>\n
    • quantitative<\/strong> measurement<\/strong> of the ABL gene transcript<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      in total RNA samples extracted<\/strong><\/u> from peripheral blood or bone marrow, as well as from lymphomonocyte or leukocyte suspensions.<\/p>\n

      FIELD OF APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The SensiQuant Direct ABL<\/strong> MasterMix<\/strong> products are intended for the assessment of ABL transcript presence as a housekeeping gene in cases of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). The SQTd-033\/SQTd-033S<\/strong> product has been developed in accordance with the \u201cEurope Against Cancer<\/em>\u201d (EAC; Gabert et al., Leukemia 2003) guidelines and complies with all the most up-to-date international standards (Branford et al., Leukemia 2006; Hugues et al., Blood 2006).<\/p>\n

      The “SensiQuant Direct ABL MasterMix<\/strong>” products are to be used exclusively in conjunction with the “SensiQuant Direct MasterMix<\/strong>” kits for the translocation of interest and the corresponding “SensiQuant Standards<\/strong>” or “SensiQuant Positive Control<\/strong>” (see the following section on associated kits).
