SensiQuant Direct ABL MasterMix

The SensiQuant Direct ABL MasterMix product is available in two different packaging formats, identified by two product codes:

1. SQT-033: internal format, 72 duplicate determinations for ABL mRNA, totaling 144 determinations, including standards and controls.
2. SQT-033S: small format, 24 duplicate determinations for ABL mRNA, totaling 48 determinations, including standards and controls.

The SensiQuant Direct ABL MasterMix kits are used for:

• qualitative detection of the ABL gene transcript
• quantitative measurement of the ABL gene transcript

in total RNA samples extracted from peripheral blood or bone marrow, as well as from lymphomonocyte or leukocyte suspensions.

 

FIELD OF APPLICATION

The SensiQuant Direct ABL MasterMix products are intended for the assessment of ABL transcript presence as a housekeeping gene in cases of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). The SQTd-033/SQTd-033S product has been developed in accordance with the “Europe Against Cancer” (EAC; Gabert et al., Leukemia 2003) guidelines and complies with all the most up-to-date international standards (Branford et al., Leukemia 2006; Hugues et al., Blood 2006).

 

ASSOCIATED KITS AND ACCESSORIES

The “SensiQuant Direct ABL MasterMix” products are to be used exclusively in conjunction with the “SensiQuant Direct MasterMix” kits for the translocation of interest and the corresponding “SensiQuant Standards” or “SensiQuant Positive Control” (see the following section on associated kits). With the SensiQuant Direct kits, we elevate the precision and reliability of leukemia diagnostics to a higher level, providing specialists with high-quality tools for patient care.
